P90X and A Smart Breakfast

When you are going to start the toughest 90 day fitness program on DVD, you better clean up your diet and get the most reward for your efforts. What is the point if you don’t finish the program with a killer body? One of the ticks to staying thin is planning ahead. If you are running late in the morning, the last thing you want to do is hit a fast food place even if it is disguised as a coffee shop. I know many P90X users that make a half dozen egg and ham muffin sandwiches at the beginning of the week that they can toss in the microwave on the way out the door. A english muffin, egg, cheese, and turkey packs half the calories of a bagel or croissant sandwich from any fast food joint. Breakfast wraps are also simple to make and have a decent carb to protein ratio. The best tool in your low fat arsenal is the blender. Make a protein smoothie in the morning with almond milk, protein powder and some frozen fruit. This strategy works for the Insanity workout as well as any other Beachbody fitness program you commit to. Do not do all that hard work and sabotage yourself by eating junk foods.
